THE PRICELESS JEWEL
Who can find a virtuous wife? For her worth is far above rubies proverb 33:10
A priceless woman is a jewel of inestimable value. As a woman you must discover the secret of a virtuous woman to enable you take the same footsteps with her. The secret of her being a virtuous woman is revealed in the bible as recorded in proverb 31:30 thus: “charm as deceitful and beauty is passing. But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised“
The scripture above is the secret and foundation of being a virtuous woman. She had the fear of God is to hate evil and depart from iniquity. A Christian woman who is filled with the Holy spirit and possesses other gifts or blessings, must above all fear the LORD
The manifestation of the fear of God in the virtuous woman is what you can see in the several verses of proverbs 31
EFFECT OR MANISFESTATIO N OF THE FEAR OF GOD
1. The Right Foundation.
Proverb 31:11.12, 23 shows that she respects her husband. She impact positively on him. The result is a sweet home.
2. Commitment
She was totally committed to the marriage (1 Cor. 7:10) she held strongly to her marriage vows.
3. She was a good teacher and trainer (Proverb 31:26)
She impacted on the lives of her children positively (Read also Provb 22:6, Deut. 6:7) she nurtured them (1Timothy 3:4, 12) she showed her children love. You must do likewise as a woman. Give your children kiss, hug them and show them love in your daily dealing with them
4. She was a diligent workers
She prepares good meals for her entire family, she cleans her house and pray effectively (Night fight). If you must have a balanced home, you must pay the sacrifice. Your candle must not go out in the night time.
5. She contributed financially and economically to her home
She did not fold her hands. There was always something she could do, she was very resourceful.
6. She had a positive impact on the people in her neighbourhood (Proverb 31:20)
She was ready to give and act as a mother among woman
7. Again she had a heart that fears the Lord (Provb. 31:28)
She opened her mouth with wisdom and on her tongue is the law of kindness.
Are you a woman who fears God? Then you must open your mouth with wisdom. The bible says “ A soft answer turns away wrath” proverb 15:1. Be a woman of soft answer.
Don’t be like jezebel who sold her husband to his enemies. Rather be like the Shunamite woman who was a blessing to her husband through her godly suggestion to him to show kindness to the man of God and attract God’s blessing
If you have not received a change of heart as a woman, repent now and learn from the character of the woman in Proverb 31. When you do rightly, God will translate you from a point of desolation
to the point of testimony like the Shunamite woman in Jesus name Amen
